Treatment Assistant

At Wilderness Oak Family Dentistry, we're seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during treatments, exams, and patient discussions to ensure a smooth and efficient process  
- Collaborate with other team members to perform general Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) duties  
- Greet patients warmly, prepare them for exams, and ensure accurate digital charting and code verification  
- Capture high-quality digital X-rays and support the dentist during various dental procedures  
- Set up and sterilize treatment and exam rooms in compliance with cross-contamination standards  
- Explain treatment options and post-procedure care instructions to patients in a clear and compassionate manner  
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy  

Essential Qualifications:
- A valid Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license is required  
- Certifications in Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring, and Coronal Polishing are a plus  
- Proficiency in digital X-ray technology is required, with experience in digital charting considered highly beneficial  
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
