Location: Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: Part-Time (Fridays & Saturdays required; potential for Full-Time)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual Dental Assistant with strong front and back office experience. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment. You’ll play a vital role in both patient care and office operations, helping us deliver outstanding service while growing with the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Back Office Duties:

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
Take digital X-rays and prepare patients for treatment
Sterilize instruments and follow all infection control protocols
Set up and clean operatories between patients
Chart treatments and update patient records accurately
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op care

Front Office Duties:

Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
Answer phones, manage appointment scheduling, and confirm visits
Handle insurance verification, copays, and patient billing
Maintain accurate patient documentation using Open Dental
Keep the reception area tidy and organized
Provide support to ensure a seamless patient experience

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of dental assisting experience (front & back office required)
Bilingual – Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Open Dental software (or quick adaptability)
Availability on Fridays and Saturdays (required)
Strong professional references
