Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant
Location: San Antonio, TX (Olmos Park)
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Take digital radiographs and assist with diagnosis and treatment planning
- Perform chairside assisting functions, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care
- Greet patients with warmth and professionalism, helping them feel comfortable
- Build rapport quickly with patients to ensure a positive and supportive experience
- Educate patients on dental care and treatment plans, helping them understand procedures
- Be a brand ambassador for our practice, representing us with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Assist the team with various tasks, maintaining a high level of organization and follow-through
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming and problem-solving discussions
- Stay open to learning and adapting to new technologies and techniques, including IV sedation, endodontic, and surgical procedures
Requirements:
- 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Experience with Eaglesoft software is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in taking digital radiographs
- Strong chairside assisting skills and the ability to stay calm and focused during procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with patients
- Passion for excellent dentistry and a genuine interest in patient care
- A proactive, creative approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to multi-task
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to relocate to San Antonio, TX (Olmos Park) prior to starting work
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
