We are a dynamic dental practice serving both everyday patients and celebrities in Houston and beyond. We are looking for a friendly, skilled, and flexible Dental Assistant to join our team. If you’re personable, experienced, and passionate about patient care, we’d love to have you on board!

Key Responsibilities:  

- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials  

- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use  

- Take and develop dental X-rays using digital machines  

- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive practices  

- Ensure all consents are completed and signed prior to treatment  

- Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure proper storage  

- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff  

- Adapt to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients  

- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones or patient admission, as needed  

Skills and Qualifications:  

- Proficient in medical and dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and team members  

- Knowledge of prosthodontics, endodontics, and four-handed dentistry techniques  

- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to ensure infection control standards are followed  

- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus  

- Ability to use or learn Dental Management software (OpenDental)  

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills  

- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and provide top-notch customer service  

- Texas RDA license (Required)

Schedule:  

- 8-hour shifts

- Monday to Friday  

- No nights  

- Weekends as needed
