Doc Bresler's Cavity Busters is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team at our Roxborough location. This is an immediate full-time position. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care in a friendly and welcoming environment. X-ray certification is required for this role.

Position: Dental Assistant  

Location: Roxborough, PA – Doc Bresler's Cavity Busters  

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and review treatment plans with parents before the visit  

- Escort patients to treatment areas and confirm demographic information  

- Record and update dental health histories in the patient’s digital chart  

- Take digital x-rays and panoramic images as needed  

- Set up instrument trays and prepare the treatment area for the doctor, hygienist, or EFDA  

- Set up the dental chair with necessary materials for procedures  

- Enter treatment information and procedures into the patient’s electronic chart  

- Assist doctors and EFDAs chairside by preparing materials, suctioning, and supporting procedures  

- Take preliminary impressions for lab work  

- Clean and disinfect treatment rooms and dental chairs after patient use  

- Sterilize dental instruments and disinfect equipment following infection control protocols  

- Review treatment with the parent after procedures, provide postoperative instructions, and escort them to the front desk for follow-up appointments  

- Unbox materials and verify inventory orders  

Requirements:  

- X-ray certification (mandatory)  

- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment  

- COVID-19 vaccination (mandatory)  

Preferred Qualifications (but not required):  

- Bilingual (Spanish, Russian, Chinese) is a plus  

- Experience with Dentrix Enterprise dental software  

- Familiarity with dental terminology  

Job Details:

- Job Type: Full-time  

- Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
