Job Description
We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth clinical operations, delivering excellent patient care, and supporting both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced dental practice.
Dental Assistant – Full-Time
Work Location: In-Person | Starting at \$18.00/hour | 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control standards
Take, develop, and process dental x-rays
Record and update patient medical histories and treatment documentation
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-procedure care
Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical histories
Support dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming plaster casts
Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency with CAD software (for dental prosthetics)
Familiarity with medical coding and billing procedures
Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and documentation
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
