Junior Chairside Dental Assistant

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Junior Chairside Dental Assistant to support our general dentistry practice across our 5+ locations in Brooklyn and Queens. This role is essential in ensuring efficient workflows and exceptional patient care. Starting Pay: $18/hour (Higher rates available for experienced candidates)  

Key Responsibilities:  
- Assist the dentist during various general dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency  
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials  
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures and treatment progress  
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive practices  
- Support procedures such as cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals  
- Handle and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment to ensure proper functionality  
- Coordinate with the front office team to maintain smooth patient flow and scheduling  
- Follow *nfection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
- Assist in taking and processing dental radiographs (X-rays)  

Qualifications:  
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent credentials from an accredited program  
Experience as a chairside dental assistant in a general dentistry setting  
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials  
Proficiency in taking and processing dental radiographs  
Strong organizational and multitasking skills  
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused attitude  
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
