Minimum Qualifications
- Valid dental hygienist license in Texas and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required).
- Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- A passion for continuous learning and enhancing clinical skills to provide preventative care and maintain patients’ dental health.
- Clinical skills as required by the office.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as required by the Office Doctor at Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed.
- Availability for periodic virtual (or in-person) training sessions throughout the year.
