Key Responsibilities:

- Perform dental prophylaxis and cleanings to eliminate plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth.

- Conduct thorough oral examinations to detect signs of oral diseases, such as cavities and periodontal issues.

- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to aid in diagnosing dental conditions.

- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to protect patients' teeth from decay.

- Assess patients' periodontal health and provide appropriate treatments, such as scaling and root planing.

- Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing the operatory, passing instruments, and ensuring patient comfort.

- Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing dental instruments and following safety protocols.

- Monitor and document patients' medical histories, noting any relevant medications or conditions that may impact dental treatment.

- Accurately and thoroughly document treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress in dental records.

- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care and assist in treatment planning.

- Stay informed about the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques, technologies, and research.

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
