West Alamo Dental Care is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team. Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Note: With a new doctor joining us, hours may change.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license in Texas, with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required).
- Strong working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience:
- 1-2 years of clinical experience.
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall dental health maintenance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential duties as required by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed.
- Availability to attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions throughout the year.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, with all necessary guidance provided. (Note: This requirement is not applicable in Florida and Tennessee.)
