Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to become part of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding during each visit. This role requires a solid foundation in dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth

- Take and record vital signs to ensure patient safety and comfort

- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits

- Assist in managing patient flow within the office for efficient scheduling and treatment delivery

- Utilize Dentrix software and Dexis sensor for digital radiography and patient record management

Requirements:

- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Texas with a minimum of 3 years of experience

- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy

- Experience with medical records management and adherence to HIPAA standards

- Proficiency in Dentrix software

- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively

- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and education

Job Type: Part-time  

Pay: $50.00 - $52.00 per hour
