Dental Hygienist

Job Opening: Part-Time Dental Hygienist  
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11235 (In-Person)  
Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour  

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments including medical history reviews and oral health evaluations  
- Deliver high-quality dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing  
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and the benefits of regular dental care  
- Assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry techniques to streamline procedures  
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental terminology  
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques  
- Stay informed about the latest developments in dental hygiene and clinical practices  
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and optimize treatment outcomes  

Qualifications:
- Current and valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist  
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and infection control standards  
- Proficiency in patient assessment and hygiene techniques  
- Familiarity with aseptic procedures in clinical environments  
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration  
- Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced setting  
- Prior experience in a dental office is a plus, but not required
