Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays
Salary: Competitive – Commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities
Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and answering any questions
Assist dentists during a range of procedures including restorations, crowns, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments
Sterilize and maintain instruments, operatories, and equipment in compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
Capture high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral images
Chart treatment accurately and maintain thorough patient records using Dentrix (or similar software)
Educate patients on oral hygiene, procedure steps, and post-op instructions
Assist with patient scheduling, treatment coordination, and case presentation when needed
Provide occasional support to the front office, including check-in/out and insurance verification
Follow up with patients post-treatment to ensure satisfaction and recovery
Stay current on dental assisting best practices, technologies, and CE requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience in general or multi-specialty practice
Active California DA or RDA license (RDA preferred)
X-ray certification (Required)
CPR/BLS certification (Required)
Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software (Preferred)
Thorough knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control guidelines
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus
