Position Summary: Dental Assistant
We’re excited to welcome a Dental Assistant to our team!
In this role, you'll assist dentists across various specialties—including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry—while practicing four-handed dentistry and ensuring compliance with infection control and OSHA safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed techniques and proper sterile protocols
- Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization
- Set up and prepare rooms before and after patient care
- Ensure patients are comfortable while waiting for dental treatment
- Take, expose, develop, and mount radiographs (X-rays) accurately
- Clean and sterilize instruments and dental handpieces
- Identify and report malfunctioning equipment
- Support light lab work, including pouring and trimming patient study models
- Document patient records per dentist's dictation and ensure accurate charting
- Comply with all health center, hospital, and departmental policies
- Provide age-appropriate, culturally competent care tailored to each patient’s needs
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in chairside dental assisting
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization

Salary Range:
$47,102.40 – $52,070.94 annually
Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, specialty, and departmental need. Additional incentives or benefits may apply.
