Dental Assistant

River Dentistry is DTLA’s only full-service and emergency dental office, offering affordable, painless cosmetic and emergency care in a modern, spa-like environment. Our goal is to enhance both our patients’ smiles and their overall health and well-being. We provide a wide range of treatments, including root canals and extractions, all in-office and often in a single visit.  

We are currently seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care, highly organized, and eager to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced dental environment.  

What You’ll Do:  
Provide compassionate customer service to new and returning patients.  
Assist dentists with procedures, including digital X-rays, coronal polishing, and sterilization.  
Verify PPO insurance online or by phone and explain benefits to patients.  
Manage front desk tasks, including scheduling, phone calls, and emails.  
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.  

What We’re Looking For:  
Team player with a positive attitude.  
Strong multitasking and organizational skills.  
Ability to communicate professionally with patients in-office and over the phone.  
Solid English writing skills, including grammar, spelling, and professional email composition.  
Availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays.
