Responsibilities:
- Complete the DANB Radiology Certification within the allocated timeframe
- Provide chairside assistance during dental exams and treatments under the supervision of a dentist or instructor
- Chart patient examinations and assist with documenting treatment
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and the sterilization area
- Set up and break down operatories for patient appointments
- Greet and check in patients, providing excellent customer service
- Schedule patient appointments, meet monthly and daily scheduling goals
- Verify patient dental benefits accurately
- Maintain detailed patient records in a fast-paced environment
- Submit insurance claims and pre-authorizations to insurance companies
- Assist with treatment plan presentations and patient education
Qualifications:
- Positive customer service attitude and a passion for helping others
- Strong desire to pursue a career in dental assisting
- Ability to complete the DANB Radiology Certification within the required timeframe
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
