Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and personable **Front Desk Receptionist/Dental Assistant** to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth office operations while delivering exceptional customer service to our patients. This role combines both front desk management and dental assisting duties, offering a varied and rewarding opportunity in our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor.
- Answer phone calls, direct them to the appropriate department, and address patient inquiries.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring the appointment calendar runs smoothly.
- Collect patient information, update dental records, and verify insurance coverage.
- Present treatment plans to patients and assist with insurance verification and authorizations.
- Bill insurance claims and be familiar with dental codes.
- Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes.
- Resolve patient concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Perform some back-office duties as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with phone systems and office equipment.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently in a busy office.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and billing codes is a must.
- Previous experience with dental claims billing preferred.
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate attitude towards patients.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift, Monday to Friday
