Our well-established dental practice is looking for a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to become an essential part of our team. If you have at least 2 years of experience in a front office role within a dental setting and are self-motivated with excellent organizational skills, we’d love to hear from you.

You will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient office management. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, so a friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answering Phones: Greet patients and answer calls promptly, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.

- Patient Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring proper time management and a smooth workflow.

- Patient Records Management: Enter procedures and updates into the dental management software accurately and efficiently.

- Insurance & Payment Management: Collect payments for services rendered, verify insurance information, and interact with insurance companies regarding claims and benefits.

- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties such as maintaining patient files, updating patient records, and handling patient communications.

- Social Media (optional): If experienced, assist with managing social media accounts for the practice, creating engaging content and interacting with the community.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of front office experience in a dental setting

- Experience with dental management software (Dentrix or Easy Dental preferred)

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with patients and insurance companies professionally

- Prior social media experience in a medical or dental setting is a plus

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Positive, professional demeanor and a passion for delivering exceptional patient service

Position Details:

- Full-Time: Monday to Friday

- Compensation: $24 - $27 per hour (based on experience)
