Dental Assistant
Job Description
This role is key to ensuring our clinic adheres strictly to OSHA regulations, maintains a high standard of cleanliness, and upholds sterilization protocols for all instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sterilization and Clinic Maintenance
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clinic area.
- Sterilize all instruments, bag them, and prepare tray setups for patient use.
- Stock the clinic with necessary supplies, including hygiene and bathroom areas.
- Sterilize impression trays and oil handpieces as needed.
- Support the chairside Registered Dental Assistant by assisting with patient photos.
- Work cohesively with team members to foster an atmosphere of trust, respect, and cooperation.
- Participate actively in staff meetings.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma
- Dental Assistant Certification preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, parents, the doctor, and team members.
- Communication: Effective verbal skills for clear communication with patients, parents, and staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Starting at $21.00 per hour
