Dental Assistant - $20-$25/hour

Torrey Del Mar Dentistry is a well-established, multi-specialty dental practice known for providing comprehensive care across a range of specialties. Our expert team includes professionals in General & Cosmetic Dentistry, Periodontics, Endodontics, Pedodontics, Orthodontics, and the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) and Myofascial Pain Disorders.

Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM  
- One-hour lunch break from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM  

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients to our office with a friendly and professional demeanor  
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort and safety  
- Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and materials required for procedures  
- Sterilize instruments according to strict industry regulations  
- Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry during a variety of procedures  
- Perform lab tasks as directed by the dentist or office manager  
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized treatment room  
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain an efficient office flow  
- Keep accurate, detailed patient records for optimal care  

Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a general or specialty dental practice  
- Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and safety protocols  
- Ability to perform non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing is a plus  
- Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix, Dexis, etc.) and digital X-ray technology  
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach  
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and reliability  
- RDA License (Preferred)  
- X-Ray Certification (Required)
