Job Description
As the Clinical Lead Assistant, you will support the doctor in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This role involves direct patient interaction, team leadership, and continuous improvement of clinic processes to enhance both the patient experience and clinic efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Support: Assist the doctor with patient treatments and clinical procedures, ensuring a positive experience for both patients and their families.
- Clinic Operations: Oversee patient flow, manage scheduling, and collaborate with the administrative team to resolve conflicts and optimize efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead the onboarding and training of clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and a cohesive work environment.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between the clinical team, administrative staff, and patients, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding treatments and addressing any concerns.
- Inventory & Ordering: Manage the ordering and inventory of clinic supplies to ensure the clinic is always fully stocked and prepared.
- Community Relations: Build and maintain professional relationships with other healthcare providers to support patient-centered care and enhance community connections.

The Clinical Lead Assistant is responsible for maintaining a patient-centered environment that fosters trust in the doctor(s) and clinical team. By actively listening to the needs of patients, parents, and the doctor(s), you will help ensure a high-quality care experience and optimize clinic productivity.

Position Summary:
The Clinical Lead Assistant will identify and implement improvements in clinic operations and patient care. A thorough understanding of the doctor(s)' preferences and treatment techniques is required. Monthly meetings with the Office Manager will focus on practice planning, scheduling goals, and clinical management strategies.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: 1+ year of orthodontic experience required

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Mentor and coach clinical team members, providing constructive feedback and training new employees.
- Scheduling: Ensure flexibility for emergency patients and manage daily patient flow.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and manage conflicts within the clinical team promptly.
- Inventory Management: Oversee supply ordering and ensure the clinic is always well-stocked.
- Documentation: Regularly review and update the Clinical Procedures Manual to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Emergency Care: Assist with patient comfort adjustments and emergency procedures.
- Patient Interaction: Professionally and empathetically handle patient and parent inquiries and correspondence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.16 - $21.18 per hour
Expected Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
