Dental Hygienist – Full-Time or Part-Time | $3,000 Sign-On Bonus

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in promoting oral health through patient education, disease prevention, and hands-on care under the supervision of our experienced Kids Smiles Dentists and Clinical Director.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM; Friday until 4:00 PM
Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 (paid in three installments)
Locations: West Philadelphia (Market Street) and Southwest Philadelphia (Island Avenue)
Status: Full-Time or Part-Time (we’re flexible!)

Key Responsibilities

Educate and counsel children and parents on oral hygiene, plaque control, nutrition, and the connection between oral and overall health.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to remove deposits and stains.
Apply fluoride treatments and place sealants for preventive care.
Assist in preventing and managing dental caries and periodontal disease.
Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays).
Collaborate closely with dentists to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program (state licensure required).
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Detail-oriented with the ability to perform precise clinical work.
Committed to patient education and community health initiatives.
