Dental Assistant â?? San Diego, CA

Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our mobile dental team serving San Marcos and surrounding areas of San Diego County. This is a part-time position (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) providing on-site dental care to residents in senior living and long-term care communities.

This role is ideal for a Dental Assistant who enjoys working independently, building meaningful patient relationships, and supporting a mission-driven organization dedicated to senior care.

What You’ll Do

Assist the dentist with chairside procedures at senior living and long-term care facilities
Set up, sterilize, and break down portable dental equipment
Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety protocols
Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for
Document procedures and assist with basic administrative and logistical tasks

What We’re Looking For

Certified or Registered Dental Assistant (per California state requirements)
Current Radiation Safety Certificate
2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
Knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to lift and transport dental equipment (25–50 lbs)
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
