Part-time Orthodontic Care Assistant

Position: Orthodontic/Dental Assistant (Part-Time)

Schedule: 2 days per week (16 hours total)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Your Impact:

Represent our mission by engaging in community events and school screenings
Participate in daily morning huddles to share wins and celebrate team efforts
Work closely with children and families — over 70% of our patients are kids!

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
Guide patients and parents through treatment plans and next steps
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Prepare patients for exams and procedures
Take and upload X-rays and high-quality orthodontic facial photos
Set up trays, mix materials, and maintain sterile treatment areas
Keep accurate patient records and treatment notes
Fabricate custom impression trays and assist with other related duties

What We’re Looking For:

Certified Orthodontic or Dental Assistant (based on state requirements)
CPR/BLS certification (required)
Preferred: 1+ year of experience in orthodontic assisting
Willingness to travel locally within assigned territory
Strong focus on customer service, compassion, and attention to detail
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
