We’re a modern, boutique orthodontic practice in Manhattan looking for a Clinical Dental Assistant who checks all those boxes and more.

Who You Are:
Ideal candidates hold a New York State Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license, or are currently on track to become one.
To qualify as an RDA in NY, you must:
1. Have graduated from an accredited dental assisting program
2. Passed all exams from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB)
3. Hold a valid RDA license number in New York State
We will also consider candidates with a Limited Permit, or those who qualify for one (having completed an accredited training program). If you're not yet certified, you must be willing to enroll in an online dental assisting program—we may even sponsor your tuition!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Arriving before the first patient to prep for the day
- Setting up and sanitizing operatories
- Welcoming and seating patients warmly
- Taking diagnostic photos, iTero 3D scans, and X-rays
- Assisting with braces placement and adjustments
- Completing indirect bonding procedures
- Working with digital systems like LightForce and inBrace
- Placing clear aligner attachments
- Giving post-procedure instructions
- Taking impressions, pouring models, fabricating essix retainers
- Managing lab work and inventory
- Typing clinical notes quickly and accurately
- Sterilizing instruments and managing infection control
- Helping maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Assisting front desk as needed
- Supporting a smooth, on-time patient schedule
Schedule:
This role is 3–4 days per week, with a possible 5th day for admin duties.
We offer flexibility—but you must be able to commute to our Manhattan office.
