Oral Surgery - Assistant

Traveling Oral Surgery Dental Assistant

Full-Time | Phoenix & Gilbert, AZ | Specialty Role

Key Responsibilities:

Assist oral surgeons with a range of in-office surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and IV sedation
Prepare surgical setups, sterilize instruments, and manage surgical supplies and inventory
Monitor and support patients before, during, and after procedures
Take digital X-rays and impressions; maintain accurate, detailed patient documentation
Educate patients with clear, compassionate pre- and post-operative instructions
Maintain strict adherence to infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
Travel consistently between the Phoenix and Gilbert offices as needed

Qualifications:

Arizona Dental Assistant Certification required
Previous oral surgery experience strongly preferred
BLS/CPR certification required; DAANCE or anesthesia certification is a plus
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between locations
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
Calm, compassionate, and detail-focused demeanor
