Bilingual Dental & Oral Surgery Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Dental & Oral Surgery Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), has a warm and confident chairside manner, and is focused on delivering exceptional patient care. This role involves supporting surgical procedures and helping train staff to enhance efficiency and workflow in preparation for specialty treatment days. A passion for mentoring and working collaboratively across skill levels is a must.

Competitive Pay: \$18–\$22/hour

Monday–Friday schedule, 9 AM–5 PM (flexibility required as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons during sedations and procedures; manage workflow to ensure readiness for each patient
Maintain inventory and prepare equipment/supplies for specialty procedures
Provide thorough pre-op and post-op instructions to patients
Support team training by implementing workflow improvements and educating staff to reduce denials and boost efficiency
Communicate professionally with patients, staff, and specialists at all times
Answer patient questions regarding treatments, when requested
Collaborate closely with a skilled team of specialty assistants and surgeons

Requirements:

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
BLS certification (required)
Experience with Open Dental software (preferred)
Strong professionalism and interpersonal communication skills
