Experienced Certified Dental Assistant

We offer a full range of services and are looking to add a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant to support our continued success.

Job Type: Part-time | Weekdays Only (No Weekends)

What You’ll Do

Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures using 4-handed dentistry
Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
Chart clinical findings and maintain accurate digital patient records
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
Help manage the office schedule and assist in front desk duties (phones, check-in/out, paperwork)
Maintain and organize dental inventory; restock supplies as needed
Uphold infection control protocols and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Completion of a certified Dental Assistant program (preferred)
X-ray certification (required)
CPR certification (preferred)
Familiarity with Dentrix software and basic medical coding
Understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
