Your Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental and surgical procedures.
Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms for each patient.
Take and process accurate traditional and digital impressions, as well as digital X-rays.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments following strict infection control protocols.
Greet patients, review medical histories, and prepare them for treatment.
Maintain accurate patient records, including charts, medical histories, and consent forms.
Stay current with best practices, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Occasionally travel to remote sales locations (Palmdale and West Covina) as needed.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a dental assisting program (required).
Previous dental assisting experience (required).
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
Proficiency in capturing and processing digital X-rays.
Familiarity with dental software and scheduling systems (preferred).
Solid understanding of infection control and safety protocols.
