About the Role

As a Dental Hygienist at Derby Dental, you’ll play a key role in maintaining our high standard of patient care. From creating a welcoming atmosphere to performing thorough cleanings and educating patients on proper oral hygiene, your work will help improve lives—one smile at a time.

What You’ll Do
- Make patients feel welcome, safe, and comfortable before and during treatment  
- Perform initial oral health screenings and review dental/medical history  
- Identify early signs of oral health issues such as gingivitis or periodontitis  
- Provide preventative care including cleanings, fluoride applications, and sealants  
- Sterilize and prepare instruments and maintain a clean, safe workspace  
- Educate patients of all ages on best practices for maintaining oral hygiene  
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Dental Hygienist with proven clinical experience  
- Solid understanding of dental health, hygiene techniques, and infection control  
- Familiarity with dental equipment and sterilization protocols  
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-centered approach  
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-tier care
