Dental Hygiene Specialist

The Dental Center of Brooklyn is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care staff, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting optimal oral health through education and treatment.  

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $35-$55, based on experience.  

Responsibilities:  
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, to maintain patients' oral health.  
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and fluoride use.  
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.  
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and communicate findings to the dentist.  

Requirements & Qualifications:  
- Education: Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene or equivalent.  
- Licensure: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in New York State.  
- Skills:  
 - Proficiency in Dentrix software.  
 - Strong communication and patient education skills.
