As a Lead Dental Assistant, you play a pivotal role in delivering a one-of-a-kind patient experience. From direct patient care to ensuring smooth clinic operations, you’ll contribute to both clinical excellence and a welcoming atmosphere in our world-class lobbies.

Location: Rodeo Dental  
Reports To: Office Leader  
Schedule: Flexible, including evenings and weekends as needed    

Qualifications:  
Active CPR & AED Certification  
Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS Certification (Preferred)  
Experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix)  
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus!  

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and sanitize exam rooms, ensuring readiness for each patient  
Set up trays and instruments for procedures  
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments & equipment  
Assist in diagnostic-quality X-rays when needed  
Manage daily patient flow and back-office efficiency  
Assign roles & responsibilities to back-office staff  
Oversee inventory management & supply orders in Procurify  
Ensure oxygen, nitrous, and helium tanks are stocked  
Train new employees and uphold quality standards  
Communicate with dentists to ensure they have necessary materials  
Assist with dental procedures including:  
  - Retraction cord placement  
  - Scaling, temporaries, and coronal polishing  
  - Post-extraction & periodontal dressings  
  - Taking impressions & bite registrations  
  - Preparing study casts (teeth models)  
Provide direct support in orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery  

Physical Requirements:  
Prolonged standing & sitting as needed  
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
