At Leading Edge Oral Surgery, dental assisting means crafting confident smiles, honing your skills, and delivering compassionate care. We’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant with a background in surgical procedures to join our team in Elmhurst.

Practice Location:

60-70 Woodhaven Blvd, STE C2, Elmhurst, NY 11373

Hiring Schedule:

- Sunday: OFF

- Monday: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM

- Tuesday: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM

- Wednesday: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM

- Thursday: OFF

- Friday: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM

- Saturday: 8:45 AM - 2:00 PM

Responsibilities:

- Greet and comfort patients, ensuring a positive and reassuring experience.

- Assist the Oral Surgeon with various surgical procedures.

- Take digital radiographs, CBCT, and intra-oral scans as needed.

- Maintain strict infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.

- Sanitize and prepare operatories for treatments.

- Follow OSHA and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.

- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices.

- Perform additional office tasks as required to support seamless operations.

Qualifications:

- Previous dental assisting experience with surgical procedures is required.

- Relevant state certifications/licenses.

- Stable employment history as demonstrated in your resume.

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
