Dental Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Registered Dental Assistant with ideally 3 years of experience to join our team.
This is a full-time position with convenient work hours, averaging 32-36 hours per week over four days. Enjoy alternating schedules of Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Friday, giving you long weekends twice a month. Our clinic operates from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM, with no late evenings and a single location.

Qualifications
- Texas RDA license (Required)
- 3 years of dental assisting experience (Preferred)
- X-Ray Certification (Required)
- iTero Scanning Competency (Preferred)
Skills
- Proven experience as a dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks, such as coronal polishing (a plus)
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma; graduation from a dental assistant program required
- Additional certifications or training (e.g., EFDA) are a plus
Typical Daily Responsibilities
- Greet patients with a friendly smile
- Train and use the iTero scanner
- Prepare and educate patients before exams
- Assist dentists with various procedures
- Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms
- Record medical histories for each patient
- Perform X-rays
- Document existing and recommended treatments
- Complete other duties as needed to support the office
- Collaborate as a team to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements to Join Our Team
- Active Registered Dental Assistant certification
- Current CPR certification
- 2-3 years of experience as an RDA in a dental practice (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- No nights or weekends
- Holidays as needed
