We are looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team! In this key role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out. This position combines administrative coordination with patient interaction, providing an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of a busy dental office while supporting both patient care and office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly and verify appointment details with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Schedule and manage appointments efficiently using dental practice management software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, etc.).
Verify insurance coverage, perform authorizations, and assist with claims processing.
Maintain accurate patient records within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or eClinicalWorks.
Collect payments, process medical collections, and perform billing tasks in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Answer multi-line phone systems, provide excellent phone etiquette, direct calls appropriately, and schedule follow-ups.
Assist with intake procedures, medical documentation review, and organization of dental records.
Support office management tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining a professional front desk environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

Prior experience in dental or medical office administration; knowledge of dental terminology and coding (CPT, ICD-9/10) preferred.
Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms; familiarity with Epic or Meditech is a plus.
Strong attention to detail in documentation review and medical billing processes.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and accurate typing (10-key proficiency a plus).
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
Bilingual skills highly valued for serving diverse patient populations.
Exceptional customer service skills with a professional, friendly demeanor.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and organization.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
