We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess a strong work ethic, and excel in communication. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and keeping our office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and properly positioned.

- Assist the dentist by providing and passing instruments and materials as needed during procedures.

- Independently take dental X-rays, including full mouth series (FMX).

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.

- Manage patient records by documenting treatment information, updating charts, and scheduling appointments.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and overall dental health.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Keep the dental supply inventory well-stocked and organized.

- Perform basic laboratory tasks as required.

Qualifications:

- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA or RDA) preferred but not required.

- Previous dental assisting experience preferred, though we are willing to train the right candidate.

- Proficiency with dental instruments, materials, and procedures.

- Skilled in taking dental X-rays and using digital imaging software.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Commitment to providing outstanding patient care.

- Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics is a plus.

Salary and Job Details:

- Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

- Expected Hours: 16 – 32 hours per week

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, weekends as needed

- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in dental assisting required

- Location: New York, NY 10075 (Relocation required before starting work)
