Dental Assistant

Position Overview:  

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our dentists during procedures and ensuring the comfort and care of our patients. If you are hard-working, detail-oriented, and enjoy being part of a team, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Assist dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and handing instruments

- Prepare patients for treatments and procedures

- Take dental x-rays and maintain accurate patient records

- Sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with safety regulations

- Provide patients with post-operative instructions as prescribed by the dentist

- Perform various office tasks, including scheduling appointments and processing payments

Required Skills and Experience:

- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and familiarity with dental terminology

- Experience with dental software programs and medical imaging for dental diagnostics

- Ability to take vital signs and accurately record medical documentation

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Prior experience in general dentistry is required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 32 – 38 hours per week

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:45 AM - 4:00/4:30 PM (No weekends)  

Additional hours may be arranged if desired.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in dental assisting (Required)

- X-Ray Certification (Required)

- Ability to commute to Austin, TX 78745 (Required)

- Relocation to Austin, TX 78745 prior to starting work (if applicable)
