Dental Assistant

We are seeking a Dental Assistant for our modern, boutique-style dental practice with two operatories in Whitestone. While prior dental experience is preferred, we are open to training candidates eager to enter the dental field. Our practice is paperless and utilizes digital x-rays, so familiarity with computers is advantageous. The ideal candidate will be punctual, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. This is a part-time position requiring availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with alternating Saturdays. The weekday schedule is flexible for the right candidate. Please, no phone calls to the office.

Responsibilities:

- Take x-ray series using a digital sensor

- Prepare operatories for various procedures, including checkups, cleanings, fillings, root canals, crown preparations, and dentures

- Sterilize instruments and disinfect operatories following infection control guidelines

- Assist the doctor during dental procedures

- Restock supplies on a weekly basis
