Dental Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will be essential in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials

- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)

- Provide patient care and comfort before, during, and after treatment

- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus

- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

- Understanding of health and safety regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Detail-oriented and reliable

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 25 – 30 per week

- Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

- Dental license from another country (Preferred)
