Chairside Dental Assistant in a Pediatric Specialty Practice

We are seeking a team-oriented Chairside Dental Assistant to support our pediatric specialists in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. This position requires someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a child-friendly, fast-paced environment.

Chairside Dental Assistant – Part-Time
Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Location: In-person
Schedule: 20–25 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist with four-handed chairside dentistry
Prepare and set up treatment rooms before each appointment
Take digital dental X-rays
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
Chart patient information accurately
Manage and monitor dental supply inventory
Help create a calm, positive experience for our young patients
Pitch in as a team player wherever needed in the office

Requirements:

Prior dental assisting experience or formal dental assistant training required
Pediatric dental experience is a plus
A friendly, patient, and child-focused demeanor
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Reliability and a commitment to teamwork

Schedule:

Monday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Alternating Wednesday & Thursday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Two Saturdays per month: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
