Temp Dental Assistant Pediatrics/General. Week of September 29th Monday-Thursday 8:30-6

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our friendly boutique dental practice in Murray Hill. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with our dentists in delivering high-quality care to both children and adults in a supportive and welcoming environment.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Assisting with pediatric and general dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Updating and maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Taking and reviewing patient medical histories.
Educating patients and guardians on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Managing appointment schedules and providing front desk support as needed.
Ensuring the office is clean, organized, and patient-ready at all times.
Staying current with pediatric dentistry practices, terminology, and dental anatomy.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in pediatric or general dentistry is required
Familiarity with CURVE software is a plus
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Ability to take a full-mouth series (FMS)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive team player with a professional attitude
A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and comfort
