Rabizadeh Dental Group is hiring: Dental Assistant in Los Angeles

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our busy dental practice. In this role, you will support our dental team by preparing patients, maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment, and assisting with a variety of procedures to ensure excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their comfort throughout treatment
Maintain infection control protocols by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up trays, and preparing materials
Assist dentists during procedures and help manage medical or dental emergencies when needed
Support dental hygienists with procedures as required
Accurately record treatment information and maintain patient records
Take and process dental X-rays and maintain X-ray equipment
Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative care
Collect and document patient medical and dental histories, including vital signs
Maintain, organize, and care for dental equipment and supplies
Take preliminary impressions and assist with study casts and temporary restorations
Monitor inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Assist in specialty procedures, including orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontics

Qualifications:

Certification or associate degree from an accredited dental assisting program
Valid dental X-ray certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Dental hygiene training or program completion is a plus
Proficiency with computers and dental software systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
