Orthodontic Assistant (OA): Orthodontic Assistant Needed - Part time in Chicago, IL

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. If you’re passionate about orthodontic care and enjoy working in a supportive, patient-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Schedule: 1–2 days per week | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: \$19–\$22/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Sterilize and prepare orthodontic instruments and equipment for procedures
Take accurate intraoral X-rays
Capture high-quality photographs of patients’ teeth to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and progress tracking
Take dental impressions (molds) for custom retainers, mouth guards, and appliances
Assist with placing and removing archwires, coil springs, elastics, and other orthodontic components
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care for braces and other appliances

Qualifications:

Experience as an Orthodontic Assistant required
Current certifications in X-ray and infection control preferred
Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols
