Ortho Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and adaptable Traveling Orthodontic Assistant to support our orthodontic team across multiple office locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is confident in their clinical skills, and enjoys working with diverse teams and patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during a variety of clinical procedures
Take impressions, X-rays, and intraoral photographs with accuracy and efficiency
Prepare and sterilize instruments, treatment rooms, and equipment
Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene and care during orthodontic treatment
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records while ensuring confidentiality
Travel to assigned office locations on schedule, arriving prepared and on time
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies
Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with patients
Contribute to a smooth, efficient workflow within each clinical team

Requirements:

Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA or CDA preferred; based on state requirements)
Previous experience in orthodontic assisting is highly preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Willingness to travel between office locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in various team settings

Preferred Qualifications:

CPR/BLS certification
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
