We are looking for a skilled and certified OMS Assistant to join our surgical team. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who thrives in a clinical environment, excels in patient care, and is committed to safety, comfort, and efficiency throughout the surgical process.

Job Type: Part-Time (30–35 hours/week)
Pay: \$32.00 per hour
Benefits: Paid Time Off

Key Responsibilities

Surgical Assistance: Support oral and maxillofacial surgeons during procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate documentation.
Chairside Support: Prepare operatories, assist with procedures, maintain sterile environments, and ensure timely clean-up.
Radiography: Capture dental x-rays and cone beam 3D scans as needed for diagnostic and surgical planning.
Sedation Support: Assist with sedation protocols, prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort.
Patient Monitoring: Track vital signs and IV fluids during surgery; report any abnormalities to the surgeon immediately.
Post-Operative Care: Provide clear aftercare instructions to patients, supporting a safe and healthy recovery.
Impressions & Models: Take impressions and create plaster diagnostic models as part of surgical planning.

Qualifications

Required Certification: Must hold a valid sedation monitoring certification (DANB, OMAAP, or equivalent).
Preferred Experience: Experience in an oral surgery setting is ideal, but not required with proper certification.
