Key Responsibilities

I. Clinical Assistance

Chairside Support: Assist dentists during procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions by passing instruments, suctioning, and retracting as needed
Patient Preparation: Greet, seat, and prepare patients for treatment
Instrument Sterilization: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment; maintain sterilization logs
Radiography: Safely capture and process dental X-rays with precision
Material Preparation: Mix and prepare dental materials for various procedures

II. Operatory Management

Room Setup & Breakdown: Prepare and sanitize operatories before and after each patient
Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain dental equipment to ensure optimal functionality
Inventory Control: Monitor, restock, and organize clinical supplies
Waste Management: Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous waste
