High level dental assistant

We are looking for a loyal, skilled Dental Assistant to become a key member of our cutting-edge dental office. The ideal candidate will support dental procedures efficiently, ensure patient comfort, and uphold the highest standards of care. This role demands strong dental knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Skills Required:

Proficient in making temporary restorations.
Experienced with iTero scanning technology.
Thorough knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control.
Skilled in taking FMX, PANO, and CT scans.
Comfortable working with Open Dental practice management software.
Strong understanding of implant surgery, oral surgery, endodontics, and Invisalign (mandatory).
Excellent communication skills to educate and interact with patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during exams and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Prepare and maintain clean, organized treatment rooms.
Take medical histories, update patient records, and manage clinical documentation.
Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain patient safety.
Perform dental imaging, including X-rays, adhering to safety guidelines.
Provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-treatment instructions.
Manage scheduling using Open Dental software and maintain clear communication with patients regarding their care.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and orthodontics to support diverse procedures.

Pay: \$24.72 - \$31.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 35 hours per week
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, no weekends
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90045 (In-person; relocation required before start)
