Full time/Part time Hygienist

Family-oriented, friendly private practice. No Medicaid.

Duties

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
Take and process dental X-rays
Conduct oral cancer screenings
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized home-care instructions
Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing and passing instruments and materials
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental practice management software
Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean, sterile clinical environment

Qualifications

Active state dental hygiene license
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Proficiency with dental practice management systems
Understanding of medical/dental coding for billing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
