Full-Time Dental Assistant Mon-Thur 8:30-6PM :) Experience is a Must

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our boutique dental team in Murray Hill! This position offers the opportunity to work with both pediatric and general dentistry patients in a warm, supportive, and family-friendly environment.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dentists to provide exceptional care for children and adults, ensuring every visit is comfortable, efficient, and positive.

Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists during pediatric and general dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and equipment according to strict aseptic protocols.
Maintain accurate patient charts and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Record and update patient medical histories.
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions.
Support front desk operations and help manage the daily schedule as needed.
Keep treatment rooms and common areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
Stay up to date with best practices and procedures in pediatric and general dentistry.

Qualifications

Previous experience in pediatric or general dentistry is required.
Familiarity with CURVE dental software is a plus.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and the ability to take a full-mouth series (FMS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
