Employment Status: Full-time
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating

Responsibilities

Assist doctors chairside with all aspects of dental treatment
Perform advanced duties such as coronal polishing, sealants, crown preps, denture impressions and adjustments, packing cord, and Class II fillings
Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare instruments and equipment
Educate patients on oral health as directed by the doctor
Present treatment plans based on doctor recommendations
Capture dental X-rays and intraoral photos efficiently
Record accurate charting and doctor notes in the digital patient record
Provide training, support, and constructive feedback to team members
Maintain inventory and ensure adequate supplies in all dental areas
Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, state, federal, and Risas policies and procedures
Perform additional advanced duties as requested by doctors or the Office Manager

Qualifications

Bilingual in Spanish/English
High school diploma or GED required
EDDA certification preferred
Minimum of 3 years’ dental experience preferred
X-ray certification
Coronal polish certification
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology
Ability to anticipate doctor and patient needs
Warm, friendly, and outgoing personality with strong organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and support the team as needed
